Privacy
Pingel is a sideline scoring app for amateur football. Team, match and season data live on your iPhone by default. We only receive data you deliberately share.
What stays on your device
Squad names, kit colours, match events, history and settings are stored in the app’s local storage and the system Keychain for share tokens. That data is not sent anywhere unless you use a sharing feature.
What we receive when you share
- Live match link — score, clock, timeline and short player names for that match, so people with the link can follow along in a browser.
- Team invite — the team document and history needed for another manager or follower to stay in sync.
Shared data is held on servers operated for Pingel at live.pingel.app (Cloudflare). There are no Pingel user accounts on the server; access uses tokens minted by the app.
What we do not collect
We do not run advertising SDKs, analytics trackers or sell personal data. The app does not ask for your email or phone number to use the core features.
Camera
The camera is used only when you scan a team invite QR code. Images are not uploaded.
